Einst trafen am Bahnhof Jamlitz jüdische Arbeitssklaven für das nahegelegene Konzentrationslager Lieberose ein. Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg diente der imposante Gebäudekomplex sowjetischen Militärs als Verladestation für einen Truppenübungsplatz. Heute hat der ehemalige Bahnhof in der brandenburgischen Niederlausitz seine Bestimmung gefunden als Zufluchtsstätte und Seminarplatz für Straßenkinder.

Once Jamlitz station was the place of destination for thousands of Jewish working slaves for the nearby concentration camp Lieberose. After World War II the monumental complex of buildings served the Soviet military as a loading facility for a military training ground. Today the former railway station in Brandenburg accommodates street children as a refuge and as an education center for social participation.
